Dean Labs Entertainment (www.deanlabs.com), a film production company, has funded a documentary project that focuses on alternative entertainment across the country. We would like to bring a cameraman and one host to The Klingon Bloodwine Festival to document the event. Would it be possible to get an interview with someone that is knowledgeable about this event? Also, any additional information regarding dress code and special events would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time, The Dean Labs Team

Hi Rick! My name is Jeremy Dean from Dean Labs Entertainment, and I'm directing this documentary project. Thanks so much for responding! I've attached our simplified call sheet as a word doc and pdf for your convenience. I'm very much interested in capturing what your event is all about, so whether that includes "general sci fi folk" or Star Trek purists, all are welcome to be included as long as you think it adds to the overall spirit of the festival. One of the things we like to do when we attend an event like this is to have our hostess, Jenny Dean, arrive in casual clothes and then dress up to blend in with the crowd at some point during the day. Will there be a place for her to change into a costume that we would supply? And/or, would there be anything available at the actual event to help her better blend in with the crowd in the way of costume, make up or props? As far as interviewees go, I'm mainly interested in documenting two aspects. The first being getting as much information about your event as possible, and secondly giving our viewers a strong sense of what it's like to actually be there. That being said, being dressed up and in character is not a requirement for being a good candidate for an interview, but it would greatly add to the entertainment factor. Thanks so much for your help, Rick! Jeremy Dean
